All Urban Krav Maga Instructors, including myself are themselves trained directly by the UKM Technical Committee, which comprises Chief Instructor and Martial Arts Illustrated Hall of Fame member, Stewart McGill, and Co-Chief Instructor Leo Negao, 4-time World champion in Brazilian Ju Jitsu. Urban Krav Maga students will have the security of knowing that their Instructor has a more comprehensive range of knowledge than that of any instructor in any other self defence system, and will have a ground game to match the growing levels of Ju Jitsu skills out there due to the popularity of MMA.

​Prior to Training in and Teaching the UKM Self Defence System, I practised Hard Style Kung Fu, hold a Red Sash in this Style and have performed Kung Fu at Sadler’s Wells. I also trained previously for a few years in another Krav Maga System as well as Muay Thai. I am registered with and insured by the British Combat Association as an Instructor, Qualified in Emergency First Aid and have also been DBS checked. UKMC is also registered and insured with the British Combat Association as a Martial Arts Club.

Amongst other business interests, I am CIO of an Investment Management Firm (www.axis-im.com) and have contributed to several journals and appeared on CNBC, Sky News and Bloomberg television in excess of 200 times to provide insights on a wide range of Economic, Political and Investment-related matters.
